A unique rose made from the Black Muscat sourced from a select vineyard in Lake County, California.
Rose petal on the nose, fresh fruit; citrus, mango, grapefruit and pineapple. Slightly sweet on the finish with crisp acidity. A stand-alone refreshing wine with lively summer overtones.
The Black Muscat is a very pale red grape so extended skin contact is needed to achieve the rose colour. 6-7 days of skin contact time resulting in a more luscious rose similar to a tavel.
Food Pairing Notes
Seafood, especially lobster and scallops. Goat cheese and beet salad, salmon on the bbq, fruit salad, spicy dishes.
